Monday 2nd March- Snow but not slow!

Woke up to 6 inches of snow, and along with the rest of New York didn't let it stop us!

Visited NBC Studios this morning, amazing to see how many TV programmes we all recognised across the generations. Got to see the Saturday Night Live Studio with its 400 lights and the working NBC news desk.

After this we admired Rockefeller plaza with its black marble flooring and ice rink complete with gold statue - bit too cold to go ice-skating!

We all went to Soho to see a different style of architecture and shops. We all enjoyed the chance to fit in some shopping and get out of the snow. Interesting to see that New York doesn't stop when it snows!

Spent the evening in TImes Square, going to AMC cinema where we all had a choice of films to keep everyone happy.

Good night.........until tomorrow.

Just wondering... as anyone seen any celebrities yet? Apparently Soho, Times Square and Central Park are among the top 50 places for seeing celebs according to Google maps http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official&channel=s&hl=en&q=New+YOrk+map&um=1&ie=UTF-8&split=0&gl=uk&ei=4nytSenZNoiyjAfN8YyoBg&sa=X&oi=geocode_result&resnum=1&ct=title
